Advertising & Sponsorship Policy

Advertising can support independent publishing only when readers can identify it. IYI Edit does not currently run a newsletter or accept undisclosed paid placement.

Clear labeling

Paid content will be labeled “Advertisement,” “Sponsored” or another plain-language term readers can understand before engaging with it. Sponsorship is not described as independent editorial.

Editorial boundaries

Advertisers may provide factual product information and request correction of objective errors. They may not require a favorable conclusion, suppress material limitations, write an undisclosed article, invent testimonials or interfere with our corrections process.

Prohibited advertising

We do not accept advertising for explicit sexual content, weapons, illegal drugs, tobacco or vaping, gambling, political or religious advocacy, hate or extremist activity, criminal services, speculative get-rich schemes, unsubstantiated medical claims, or products marketed to children through manipulative tactics.

Data and targeting

Any advertising or affiliate technology must be reflected in our Privacy and Cookie Policies. We do not permit hidden tracking, cookie stuffing, forced clicks or deceptive redirects. Choices required by applicable U.S. privacy law will be honored through our privacy request process.
